CHARLES G DRAPER, 80, of Garrett died Saturday Jan 26, 2008 8 am at his home. He was born on May 3, 1927 in Fort Wayne to the late John P and Emma E (Stroub) Draper.
A World War II US Air Force veteran, he had worked in maintenance for the Fort Wayne City Utilities Dept for 32 years retiring in 1989. He married Barbara J (Petterson) Draper on June 26, 1948 in Fort Wayne; she survives in Garrett.
Also surviving are daughters, Linda S Stahl of Fort Wayne, Michelle M (Jerry) Shroads and Janet (Phil) Henschen, both of Garrett; sons, Kenneth L (Karin) Draper of Scottsville KY and John A (Mary) Draper of Avilla; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Maxine Shaw of Fort Wayne and Marie Robert of Anderson IN.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Bud Brecht, Raymond, Carl and William Draper.
