I have removed William Dray and Alice (Martin) Dray as the parents of John Dray, the husbnd of Mary Denne

I have added a new John Dray born 1633 as his father.

I have moved Alexander Dray to be the father of this new John Dray.

I have left William Dray, Alice Dray, and Frances Dray as children of William Dray and Alice (Martin) Dray, and have added another new John Dray as their son born 1652

Derek,

When you want to change the parents, you should create a new person, and then change the connections. You should not change the existing profile into a completely different person.

In particular, you should create a NEW John Dray rather than changing William Dray (Dray-46) into John Dray.

Once you have created a new John Dray, you can put him as the new father, replacing Willaim. but that leaves the information about William (who is a real person, even if he doesn't fit in exactly there in the genealogy) intact.

I have reverted the changes to William Dray, and will do the same for Alice Martin.

Hey Derek,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.
