"Earle Monroe" was born February 22, 1895. ^[1]

At the time of the 1900 census, the four-year-old Earl is living with his father James M. Drew, mother Bertha, and his father's mother and brother in Lawrence, Mass. ^[2]

At the time of the 1910 census, 15-year-old Earl is living with his mother Bertha, grandmother Bella and step-grandfather Albion Whitten in Lawrence, Massachusetts. ^[3]

At the time of the 1940 census, he is with his wife Mazie Drew, age 42, born in Canada, their son Robert E. Drew, and grandmother Ella Whitten. He is working as a weaver in a textile mill. ^[4]
