Biography

Rebecca was born in 1716, the daughter of John Drew and Rebecca Cook.

Rebecca Drew married Clement Bunker.

From Bunker Family Association genealogy: 8. Clement3 (James2) born in 1714 at Dover, New Hampshire. Married before 22 March 1738/1739 to Rebecca Drew3 who was born 24 April 1712 in Dover, New Hampshire she died in 1817 aet 105 Barnstead, New Hampshire (Dover Gazette 3 Dec 1822 – Longevity List). She was the daughter of John (William1) Drew2 and Rebecca Cook.

By deed dated 22 March 1738/1739, Clement Bunker of Durham and Rebecca his wife joined with John Drew Jr. of Dover, Henry Hill of Durham and Hannah his wife , James Bibber of Dover and Abigail his wife, quitting claim on part of estate of “our father John Drew late of Dover, deceased” to “our father and mother Samuel and Rebecca Starbird of Dover, Hew Hampshire (N.H. Prov. Deed 36:123) Rebecca Cook having married Samuel Stairbird2, Clement Bunker and wife Rebecca joined with Henry Hill and wife Hannah in deeding land in Dover to John Twombly Jr. and Daniel Twombly 24 March 1738/1739 (N.H. Prov. Deed 24:29). With his six brothers and sisters, divided their father’s estate and came into possession of 363/4 acres 15 May 1759 (Strafford Deed 47:444). With his wife Rebecca releasing dower, he deeded to Nathaniel Lamos Jr. “part of neck of land granted to James Bunker1 and William Follett of Dover deceased, “ 1 February 1765 (N.H. Prov. Deed 75:490). He personally acknowledged his signature to Articles of Agreement on division of his father estate 14 May 1766 (Stafford Deed 47:444).

She passed away in 1817. [1]
