John Drinkwater was born in 1781. He was the son of Richard Drinkwater and his wife Elizabeth Lutman. He followed his father in practising as a surgeon in Farnham.
In 1804 he married Annabella Ridley Sumner[1] and they had five children before she died in 1817. He passed away in 1867.[2]
John and his children lived in Farnham when the 1851 England census was taken.[3]
