Like his brothers, West and Micajah, Bradford served in the War of 1812. The three brothers were in Col. Ulmer's Regiment U.S. Volunteers.
He married Lavina Morton. They had three known children: Sarah Sally, b. 1823, Catherine, born 1825, and Elisa A, born 1834.
He passed away in 1850.
