Thomas Driver was born in Tennessee about 1814 to Benjamin Driver

He would then marry Sarah Roberts on the 27th of December, 1857 in DeKalb County, Tennessee[5] and they are believed to have had 6 children with 3 surviving until 1900
In 1840[7] he was living in District 11 in DeKalb County, Tennessee

pg 247-249. 15 Jun 1852. Thomas D. Driver, executor, reports settlement of the estate of Benjamin Driver, dec'd. Amount due the legatees:
Littleberry Driver $34.05. Thomas D. Driver 34.05. Burel Driver 34.05. Erwin Driver 34.05. Melvina Parkerson 34.05.
The above named being all the heirs of Benjamin Driver, dec'd.
In 1854 he would complete a Deed Transfer[8]

In 1860[3] they were living in Alexandria and in the home were Thomas 45, Sarah 22, Berry 22, John 18, Malvina 15 and Burrell 10. Thomas confirms that his real estate is valued at $2,000 and personal estate is $1,500
In 1870[9] Thomas confirmed that his real estate was worth about $1,200 and personal estate at about $850. In the home were Thomas 53, Sarah 29, Burrel 21 and Matilda 3
In 1880[10] and in the home are Thomas 66, Sarah 42, Matilda 12 and Mary 9.
Thomas would sign his will on the 26th of December, 1882[1]
His lands were adjacent to David Smiths, Pallis Smith, and Tilmon Crook.
His heirs were mentioned as:
The remaing real estate and personal property was to be divided between his children by his executors.
As a note in the will "My children are not to dispose of the land herein bequeathed, only in the following way. They may sell one to another and reinvest in other lands and in no way, Roads, passages are to be allowed over the entire farme, where they will do the least dmage for the benefit of my wife and children.
p.518 4 Aug 1885. Thomas D. Driver dec'd W.C. Avant & Berry Driver Exers. Final Settlment. $32.19 due to Exers. Each heir of T.D. Driver owes Executors $5.30[11]

I Isaac Warford have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to Thomas D driver and his heirs forever for the consideration of one hundred and sixty six dollas to me paid a Tract of land in the State of Tenneessee in DeKalb County and District No 11 containing by estimation one hundred acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows. Beginning on a ash and oak therein south to a ?? and ?? South to a rock ?? west to a beach the beginning Corner of an entry made by Randolph sSandlin then north with William Fouchs East Boundary line to Hollow Creek to a ?? in the creek there with the ?? of the creek to the beginning to have and to take hold the same to the said Thomas D. Driver his heirs and ?? forever I do covenant with the said Thomas D Driver that I am lawfully siezed of said law have a good right to convey it and that the same is unincumbered I do ?? the covernent and bind my self & my heirs and representatives to warrant and for ever defend the title to the said land and every tract there of to the said Thoams D Driver his heirs and ?? against the Lawful claims of all persons.
Whatever this the 10th Octobr 1849 - Isaac Waford Executed and elivered in our presense - ?? John Warford & Sollomon Scott proven 3rd June 1850.
Know all men by thee persons that Jane Johnson, John Warford and benjamin warford do bind ourselves our administrators and ?? that will not meddle or interfeere with a certain tract or parcel of land it being a part laid off to Isaac Warford as in ?? in the Deed Oct 15.
