Edward Driver and Robert Smith lived on the land formerly owned by John Pitt who died in 1729. This land was of record in Chuckauck Parish of Nansemond Co., Va., but the land record and wills are of the Isle of Wight Co., Va.

/s/ Edw. Driver
Signed and sealed in the presence of us Jos. Bridger and Jos. Wright.

Edward's daughter Hester and Thomas Driver are not mentioned in his will. Hester was mentioned in the will of her grandmother Mary Bragg. It is believed that Thomas Driver, born about 1730/4, and who died in 1840, Monroe Co., Ky. is probably a son of Edward and Sarah Bragg Driver.
