Benjamin John Drudge, ^[1] son of John Drudge and Mary Ann Dennes, ^[2] was born in about May 1849 in Ventnor, Isle of Wight. ^[1][2] He died in about August 1924 on the Isle of Wight. ^[3]

On 30 March 1851 in Crop Street, Newchurch, Isle of Wight, with his grandparents Benjamin Dennes and Jane Dennes, his mother Mary Ann Dennes aged 20, his uncles and aunt Charles E. Dennes aged 7, George H. Dennes aged 5, Emily G. Dennes aged 3 and Albert W. Dennes aged 7 months and his father John Drudge aged 27. ^[2]
