The founder of the Drummond Bank in Charing Cross in London. Now part of the Barclay's Bank group. This bank was established to serve expatriate Scots in London. It's business was interrupted by the Battle of Culloden when Drummond was regarded as suspect, given that his brother was the General in charge of the cavalry of the Jacobite Army on that day. [1]
