Welcome to Wikitree - noticed you questioned the entry for Ann Fowler - checked her profile, tided it up a bit for you & added her pioneer category - enjoy !!
I gather you are asking about the changes I made to Ann Fowler as part of the Database Errors Project .
As can be seen on the 'Changes' tab on the profile - I combined the 3 Biographies (that had been joined together from previous merges) into one and moved her middle name from, being combined with her first name in the 'first name position' and the 'preferred name position' to just the 'middle name position' - I didn't add her middle name from any records.
I'm not related or connected to the person in the profile - I was just adjusting the existing record.
Great to hear you are an amateur Kiwi genealogist. Are you planning on contributing to our Wikitree and adding your own research or are you wanting to search and use the forum? You are more than welcome to do so, it is free, and you dont have to become a volunteer.
If you want to contribute as well, please leave us another message and we can then make you a full member. As indicated above, if you just want to use our forums and search around then you can do that as a guest.
One of our volunteers will be happy to make you a full member if you post again.
Thanks for using WikiTree to grow your family tree.
Hi Ludwig, I just received a link to another person making a change to one of our very old ancestors to which I can add further detail. How do I go about that?
