In 1900, Marion(3) lived with her parents John Drummond (27) and Minnie Drummond (24) and her brother Raymond L Drummond (5) in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan. [2]
Her parents separated sometime after the birth of Genevieve. Her father raised his 3 young children with his wife's parents. James Hendrik Henry and Mary Haarman Grandma and Grandpa Henry were so adored by their grandchildren, that the girls Marion and Genevieve named their daughters first names, Mary, after their grandmother.
In 1920, Marion(21) was boarding at William Wiley's home and working as a stenographer in Grand Rapids Michigan. [3]
In 1930, Albert(31) and Marion(31) Nicholson lived in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan with their daughter, Mary Patricia (2). Albert was a foremanin the printing business andthey didn'town a radio, but theyownedtheirhome. [5]
By 1940, Albert(41) and Marion(41) Nicholson were still living in Grand Rapids, Michigan (1949 Collins Ave.) with their daughter, Mary Patricia(12) who was in 6th grade. Both Albert and Marion had completed 4 years of high school education per the census. Albert was now Superintendent in the manufacturing corporation. [6]
In 1950, Albert (52) and Marion (52) lived in the same house, with their daughter, Mary Patricia (22) who was in college and working in a department store as an assistant to Budget manager- for 'ready to wears'. Albert was a Salesman.
On 15 November 1968, her husband Albert Nicholson sadly died. He is buried in [7]
Death
She passed away on August 10th, 1988 in Battle Creek, Michigan. [8]
