Jean was born about 1645. The date is not certain but estimated from the date of birth of her son Thomas. Her place of birth is not certain but thought to have been in the lands of her father.

Jean was the daughter of George Drummond, 6th of Balloch and Marjory Graham and married William Stewart, 4th of Kinnaird in Atholl and they were the parents of:^[1][2]
