Biography

Philip married Leah Ridenhour in March 1849. They had one daughter, Mary.

He married #2 Barbara L. Bost in November 1858 in a Lutheran ceremony officiated by Rev. Dreher. There were 6 children of this marriage.

--Confederate Veteran: Co. F, 57th NC Infantry. He was twice captured & held POW at Point Lookout, MD.
