Magdalene DuBois was a granddaughter of a Huguenot emigrant (1540-1790).
Magdalena DuBois was born before May 25, 1690, when she was baptised, Kingston RDChurch.
She was the wife of Gerrit Roosa, with whom she had one child.
Her second husband, whom she married on 20 October 1718 in Kingston, New York, was Peter Pietersen van Est.[1] They had nine children, including Margaret VanNest. Magdalena died June 7, 1745 in Ulster, Ulster, New York.
