Daphne du Maurier (1907-1989) was the daughter of Sir Gerald du Maurier & his wife Muriel née Beaumont.
She married Frederick Arthur Montague Browning on July 19, 1932 at the Church of St Willow, Lanteglos-by-Fowey, Cornwall.
The estate of Menabilly in the parish of Tywardreath (near Fowey) was leased by Daphne who restored it. It was passed back to the Rashleigh family in 1969 to Sir Harry Evelyn Battie Rashleigh. [1]
She died on April 19, 1989 at Fowey, Cornwall.
