Biography

Charles E. Dubay, 54, of Lewis, New York, died suddenly Saturday night, July 8, 1978.

He was born on August 3, 1923, the son of Charles and Paulene (Snye) Dubay in Jay, New York.

He was survived by his wife, the former lona Hudson of Lewis; one son, Ronald of Keene Valley, New York; one daughter, Joyce Bethlehem of Lewis; six brothers, James of Jay, Donald of Frankfort, New York, Harold of Newcomb, New York, Fred and John of Au Sable Forks, New York, and Frank of Jay; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Bola of Au Sable Forks and Mrs. Effie Smith of Clintonville, New York; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Lewis Church on Tuesday, July 11, 1978, at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Lewis Cemetery.
