Birth and Parents

Sarah du Bois, daughter of Abraham du Bois and Magriet de Jou (Margaret Deyo), was baptized 20 June 1682 in New Paltz, Ulster County, New York. The baptism was recorded in the register of the Old Dutch Church in Wiltwyck (now Kingston, Ulster County). The sponsors were Joost Janz and Sara du Bois.
