Lea was born 25 April 1747[1][2] to Henricus Dubois and his wife, Jannetje Hoogteeling, who were married on 6 May 1733.[2].
She was baptized on 28 June 1747 in the Reformed Dutch Church of Kingston, New York, recorded as Lea, daughter of Henricus Dubois and Jannetje Hoogeeling. Her cousins Jonathan Louw and Treintje Louw, were the witnesses.[3][4]
Lea was married 1773 April 18th to Christopher Kiersted in Montgomery, Orange County, New York [2][5][6]
She died 1832 February 4th in Saugerties, New York,[1][2][6] and was buried in the Mountain View Cemetery there.[1][7]
