Biography

Francoise was born on Dec. 20, 1678 and was baptized the following day in Beaumont by a missionary priest. The record is found in Notre-Dame-de-Quebec register.[1]

The death date is questionable, original document shows that is Marie Lafrance's funeral date, no mention of a spouse, and it occurs in Lanoraie. This is not that close to where the couple were living, which was either St-Nicolas parish or St-Antoine-de-Tilly parish. Also, her son Nicolas gets married in August 1754, and she is NOT listed as deceased on that record. Ref Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967
