Jean Baptiste was born 8 Aug 1749. He was the son of Jean Baptiste Dubois and his wife Marie Louise Metot. He was baptized the same day in St-Nicolas, godparents were Jean Baptiste Frechet (signature) and Marie Elizabeth Marié. [3] [4]
On 27 Nov 1775, in St-Nicolas, Jean Baptiste Dubois Lafrance son of Jean Baptiste Dubois Lafrance and Marie Louise Méthot married Marie Louise Fréchette daughter of Louis Fréchette and Marie Geneviève Nadeau. [2] The record is written with the following information: Jean Baptiste son of Jean Baptiste Dubois and Marie Metot married Marie Frechet daughter of deceased Louis Frechet and Marie Nado.
