Chrisologue (Chrysologue) Dubé est né et a été baptisé le 18 septembre 1849 à St-Jean-Port-Joli, co. L'Islet, QC.
Il était le fils de Raphaël Dubé et de Léocadie Chouinard.
Son parrain était Pierre Dubé et sa marraine était Louise Jean.
Note: Il a ajouté le prénom de Pierre (prénom de son parrain) par la suite.
Premiers ancêtres en Nouvelle-France:
Mathurin Dubé (1621-1695) et Marie Campion (1654 - (1697) ).
