Jacques Villon was a French abstract and Cubist painter and printmaker. He was the brother of artist Marcel Duchamp.

Jacques Villon was born Emile-Méry-Frédéric-Gaston Duchamp in Damville on 31 July 1875. He was the son of Justin-Isidore Duchamp and Marie Caroline Lucie Nicolle.[1]
