Biography
John Duckett was born in 1779.
In 1826 he was living in Warren County, Kentucky when he issued a permission letter for his minor son, James Duckett, to marry Martha Adams[1] (see image here):
- Know all men by these presents that I John Ducket of Warren County and State of Kentucky do grant and authorise my son James Ducket to get marrag licens that he and Martha Adams, daughter of Jesse Adams may join in holy mattromony

- *Date has "d" ending of thousand, "red" ending of hundred, and "twenty" of twenty six omitted.
