Sarah was born 2 February 1847 in Newberry County, South Carolina to Joseph Duckett and Nancy Duckett.[1] She married 12 November 1885 in Newberry County, South Carolina to Tom Adair. Sarah and Tom had no children of their own. Sarah died in March of 1887 in Laurens County, South Carolina.[1]

Letters testamentary issued 20 Feb 1888 to Tom Adair. Although Sarah lived and died in Laurens County, her estate was probated in Newberry County. Sarah left everything to her husband and his heirs.
