Research notes

Not much is known about the life of Alice Duckett at this point. More needs to be done in order to locate marriage records for Alice and Charles Abernathy. How did they meet? Where did they marry? It does not appear that Alice and Charles had any children, but no documentation. Still looking for burial information.

Alice's mother, Kate, died in 1870. Several of Alice' siblings have been located in the homes of relatives. Her father's half Sister, Jane Duckett Williams, moved with her family to Little River County, Arkansas prior to 1880. Perhaps she took Alice with her? Should probably try Arkansas for the marriage of Charles Abernathy and Alice Duckett. Mahaney-128 00:53, 15 December 2016 (EST)
