Thomas was the son of George Duckworth and Eliza Olive.^[1]

He married first Sarah Whitehead on March 25, 1883 in Warren, Bristol County, Rhode Island^[2]

He married second Mary Mitchell on August 24, 1908 in Central Falls, Providence County, Rhode Island.^[3]

They were the parents of:
