Biography

Ernest was born on 12 March 1898 in Tennessee, United States to Ulysses Grant Duckworth and Fannie Alexander.[1] He married Leonidas Helton on 25 June 1923 in Wayne, Tennessee.[2]

The children of the Duckworth-Helton Marriage are:

  1. Melburn Lavon Duckworth was born on 2 December 1925 in Olive Hill, Hardin, Tennessee, United States. Melburn died on 6 September 2007 in Ruskin, Hillsborough, Florida, United States.
  2. Hettie Louise Duckworth was born on 9 February 1928 in Wayne County, Tennessee, United States. She married William Raymond Chesser Jr. (1916-1983) in December 1962 in Escambia County, Florida. Hettie died on 2 December 1999 in Pensacola, Escambia, Florida, United States.
  3. Margaret Monell Duckworth was born on 6 March 1930 in Olive Hill, Hardin, Tennessee, United States. She married Feve Lee Hunt on 19 January 1991 in Escambia County, Florida. Margaret died on 1 December 2000 in Pensacola, Escambia, Florida, United States.

Ernest died on 15 January 1968 in Waynesboro, Wayne, Tennessee, United States at the age of 69.[3][4]
