Janet Douglas Duff, daughter of Garden William Duff and his wife, Douglas Isobella Maria Urquhart was baptised at Turriff in Aberdeenshire on the 30th of October 1856. [1] In the summer of 1886 at St Alfege in Greenwich banns of marriage were called between Janet and Naval officer, Alexander Ludovic Duff. [2]
Janet died on the 18th of February 1908, [3] her death being registered in Kensington, England. [4]She was buried at Auchterlees in Aberdeenshire. [5]
