She became a nun with the following interesting story from Scott Coen (descendant) relating : " The most interesting family item that I discovered was one of my Grandmother's sisters. Alicia M Dufficy. She's listed on the family tree. My grandmother, Margaret always told me about her. Alicia, who was born in 1891 was killed in the Great Kanto Earthquake in Yokahama, Japan on September 1, 1923. The quake hit just before noon on a Saturday. Alicia was a nun who traveled to Japan to teach. On that day all the nuns were at Saturday noon service. The Kanto earthquake hit and the church fell down on top of them. She was 32 years old. "
