If David Duffield was about the same age as his wife Rebecca, he was born around 1770.
In the will of Rebecca's father, Johnston Elliott, who died in 1802, it is stated that she married David Duffield. [1]
NOTE: David is likely the brother of Samuel Duffield, who married Rebecca's sister Eleanor.
