Birth and Baptism
Pierre Dufresne was born 28 Apr 1760 and was baptized on 29 Apr 1760 at Notre-Dame-de-L'Annonciation de L'ancienne-Lorette, Canada, Nouvelle-France.[1][2] He was the son of Jacques Dufresne and Marguerite Robitaille.

Marriage
Pierre Boin dit Dufresne, and Marie Louise Morin daughter of the late François Morin and the late Angélique Alain, were married 26 Apr 1785 at Notre-Dame d-L'Annonciation de L'ancienne-Lorette, Province de Québec. Others present at marriage act were: Jean Noel Alain and Pierre Alain (uncles), Joseph Dufresne and Jacques Dufresne (uncles).[3][4]

Together they had five children:

  1. Pierre
  2. Jean
  3. Jacques
  4. François
  5. Antoine

In 1796 a petition was made for the guardianship of the children ranging in ages of 10 years to 4-1/2 years by Francois Morin (maternal uncle), Pierre Alain (uncle through marriage to sister of Pierre), Jacques Bouin (paternal uncle), Charles Marié, Pierre Jean Hamel, Jean Baptiste Beaupre et Jean Champlain.[5]

Death and Burial
Pierre Dufresne, widower of Marie Morin, died 8 Aug 1823 and was buried on 10 Aug 1823 at on August 8, at the age of 63 years, and was buried on August 10, 1823 at Notre-Dame d-L'Annonciation de L'ancienne-Lorette, Bas-Canada.[6][7]
