Biography
Marie Tharsile was born 21 Oct 1851 and baptized the same day in St-Prime. She was the daughter of wheelwright Olivier Dufresne and Tharsile Belleau. Godparents were Amable Devarennes (who signs along with the father) and Sophie Dufresne. [1]
On 12 Feb 1872, in St-Prime, Félix Reinville adult son of the late Paul Reinville and the late Marie Giroux married Marie Dufrène minor daughter of Olivier Dufrène and Thersile Elisabeth Belleau. Both the bride and groom sign the register along with several witnesses. [2]
On 19 Feb 1919, in St-Wilbrod d'Hébertville, Edouard Marcoux widower of Marie Giroux married Marie Dufresne widow of Félix Rainville. Both the bride and groom sign the register along with several witnesses. [3]
Marie Dufresne, 85 year old wife of Edouard Marcoux, died 28 Aug 1936. She was buried 3 days later in St-Prime. Numerous family members are present at the burial and sign the register. Among those present are her son P.H. Rainville M.D. and his brother in law Floribert Coulombe prêtre. [4]
