Biography

Martial 'Dugas' was born about 1809, île Madame, Richmond Co., Nova Scotia. He was the son of Martial Dugas and Martine Mombourquette ^[1]. He married Marine Landry in 11 Jan 1831 in L'Ardoise, Richmond, Nova Scotia, and together they had a number of children in L'Ardoise. He married Susanne LeJeune 29 Apr 1839, with whom he had a number of other children. He died in River Bourgeois in 28 May 1866^[2].

On April 29, 1839, Martial Dugas widower of Marine Landry , married Susanne Lejeune, d/o Policarpe Lejeune et Magdeleine Meunier. Arichat Parish. Witnesses: Abraham LeJeune & Jeremie Marmeau^[3]

Note

Martial Dugast and Marine Landry are listed as the parents of Desire Dugast in his marriage to Olive Bourg^[4].
