Biography
Catherine was born in 1848. She is the daughter of Jeremiah Duggan and Mary Kennerley.
Jeremiah Duggan aged 37 years, ploughman and general farm labour, arrived with his wife Mary 38, dairywoman, and their children: Elizabeth 11, Theodus 10, Catherine 9, Jeremiah 2, and Mary infant, on 18 Aug 1857 on 'Sir W.F. Williams'. The family were from Cork, Ireland, and were sent out on the application of Richard Brown. [1]
