Biography

William Harden Duggar was born to Thomas Morley Dugger and Hannah Pierce in 1825.

William married Nancy Cable Feb 7 1847 in Johnson, Tennesee. [1]An earlier notice Oct 1 1846 [2] and Oct 7 1846 was probably Marriage License / Banns. [3]

In 1850, William was living with his wife and first two children in Johnson County, Tennessee. [4]

William passed away in 1902 and was buried at New Pleasantview Cemetery in Weir, Cherokee County, Kansas. [8]

Research Notes

There are two marriage records for William and Nancy. One in 1846 and the other in 1847. Both in the same location. The earlier record may have been for the marriage license and the latter, the marriage event itself. The latter was already input in the marriage field.
