Joseph Duhon is a descendant of an Acadian

Joseph Duhon, dit le Petit was born c.1778, a son of François Duhon and Isabelle Landry.

He married Marie Rose Landry c.1802.[1]

Children:
  1. Agricole Duhon (c.1803)
  2. Marie Denise Duhon (c.1805)
  3. Marie Dulcine Duhon (c.1807)
  4. Marie Carmelite Duhon (c.1809)
  5. Joseph Denis Duhon (c.1811)
  6. Louise Doralise Duhon (1814) [2]

Marie Rose died after 1814 and before Joseph's second marriage in 1824. In late January of 1824 he married Marie Magdeleine Hebert, daughter of Joseph Pepin and Madeleine Trahan, who was married first to Benjamin Broussard; she had 8 minor children[3]

Joseph Duhon died 12 October 1829.[4][5][6]

Duhon-276 and Duhon-84 appear to represent the same person because: Date of birth about 1778, according to death entry. Same date of death. In succession, list both Rosa Landry and Magdaleine Hebert as spouses. Thanks
