Elizabeth was born in 1811. Elizabeth first married Henry Calhoun Rayburn. They had two daughters, M. J. and Esther. She subsequently married M.--possibly Martin--Bailey, with whom she had daughter Sarah and Sina. In 1850 they are enumerated on the federal census in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. [1]

Elizabeth was a slave owner. When she died in about 1852, her estate included seven enslaved persons:
