Willis F. Dulany/Delany was born about 1796. He married Tabitha Hewitt in 1820. He passed away about 1837.

Delany to be used by her for the raising and education of his children and that a negro girl called Patsey shall go to his daughter named Sarah Elizabeth Delany over and above her equal proportion in his estate in consequence of her descripted situation and that Delany died about three weeks previous and the court being sufficiently advised that this was the last will of said decedent It is ordered to be recorded as such And on the motion and oath of Tabitha W. Delany & Nathaniel J. Floyd who with George W Delany Israel W Hewitt & Rapael Hewitt their securities came into court and executed and acknowledged bond in the penalty of Three thousand Dollars. Conditioned as the law directs Adminatration of the estate of Willis F. Delany decease with the will approved is granted them."
