Francois Dumas was born and baptized July 8, 1694 at St-Jean, I.O.[1] He was the fourth child and second known son of an eventual 12 children born to Francois Dumas and Marie Francoise Gervais. [2]
He married Marguerite Rouleau on Aug. 11, 1717 at St-Laurent, I.O. [3] She was the daughter of Gabriel Rouleau and Jeanne Dufresne. They had at least eight known children. [4]
Francois Dumas died Nov. 8, 1759 at St-Laurent, I.O. and was buried there the next day. [5] Marguerite Rouleau died Dec. 7, 1749 also at St-Laurent, I.O. and she was buried two days later. [6]
