Research notes/links:
There are five Dunaways in the 1840 Census for Fayette Co with male children aged <5 yrs. - John of Redstone Twnshp; Thomas of German Twnshp; Matthew of Redstone Twnshp; Thomas of Hillsboro (Twnshp?); and Jno of Springhill Twnshp. Springhill is the Township where Miller appears in the 1850 Census. Jno (aged between 40 & 50 in the 1840 Census) does not seem to appear in the 1850 Census for Fayette Co. PA. Further, that Miller is living in the household of Thomas W. Ramsey is suggestive of a family relationship.
Miller, son of John Dunaway & Mary Harmony, died (age 76) on 19 July 1914 in Dunbar, Fayette, Pennsylvania, United States.[1]
