Charles Duncan was born about 1897, the son of James Duncan, an Estate Labourer, and Annie Allardyce. 38 year old Charles, a General Labourer, married 24 year old Frances Cumberford, a Domestic Servant, on 13 Dec 1935 at 11 Royal Terrace in Edinburgh. Witnesses were J. Lickavance and Mary Cumberford.
