Sarah Duncan, (daughter of Thomas) born 13 Nov. 1799; married Archibald Hawks. Archibald was born 1790-1800; probably died 1835-40. Archibald Hawks was in White Co. TN 1827-1833 (tax lists) and in 1830 (pg. 5); Sarah Hawks was in Hancock Co. IL in 1840 (pg. 209). Archibald had at least five daughters and three sons, possibly including Elizabeth Hawks (m. Samuel Browning)

Amelia Browning (dau of Samuel Browning Elizabeth Hawks), born 18 Oct. 1839 (notebook) or 1843 (census) in IL; married 1st -------- Bascow; married 2nd -------- McDaniel by 1876 and had daughter Amelia Jane McDaniel born Dec. 1876; possibly married 3rd William E. Duncan (2.1.) on 22 Oct. 1882; died 4 Nov. 1915
