Joyce Arnold, 82, of Roseville, Ill., formerly of Raritan, Ill., died at 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 1997, at LaMoine Christian Nursing Home in Roseville.
Born April 20, 1915, at Raritan, Ill., she was the daughter of Howard A. and Laura Belle Galloway Duncan. She married Vincent Arnold on June 3, 1933, in Bushnell, Ill. He died Jan. 22, 1989.
Mrs. Arnold had lived her entire life in the Raritan area. She was a member of Raritan Baptist Church and its Victory Club, Raritan Fireman's Auxiliary and Co' Missus Mission Circle.
Survivors include two sons, Lewis Arnold of Amargosa, Nev., and Dennis Arnold of Raritan, Ill.; four daughters, Lorraine Johnson, Jeannette Boyd and Roberta Hanger, all of Raritan, Ill., and Loma Schafer of Lebanon, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one brother.
