Franklin "Frank" Duncan was born in about May 1860 in Clarence, Erie, New York to Charles Duncan and Lucy Riddle. [1]
By 1865, Frank and his mother, Lucy, were living with her parents, Joseph Riddle and Lucy Andrus, in Clarence. [2]
Lucy married Samuel Cullen, and as reported in the 1870 United States Census, Frank was living with his mother, stepfather and half-sister, Annie, in Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York. [3]
In 1880, Frank, age 20, was a laborer on his stepfather's farm. Frank married Mary Fedick in about 1894 and they had two sons, John and James, and resided in Great Valley, Cattaraugus, New York. Frank worked as a laborer doing odd jobs. In 1900, Mary's brother, Peter Fedick, a carpenter, lived with them. [4] In 1905 -1910, Frank and Mary and their two sons lived in Ellicottville, Cattaraugus, New York. [5][6]
In 1920, Frank and Mary and son, James, lived in Great Valley, Cattaraugus, New York. Frank was a farmer. [7]
Frank died on August 20, 1928 in Great Valley, Cattaraugus, New York. [8]
