I believe this Thomas Dunham is the same Thomas Dunham in a Dunham family history published privately in 1916 that was handed down through my family. The one in my book was born in 1766, supposedly in England, emigrated to New Brunswick, NJ in 1788 with two brothers and a sister. He married Ann Carrell (born 1764) in 1791. They had 7 children, including Samuel and Jonathan as listed here. In 1801 Thomas and his family moved to Ovid, Seneca County, NY. In 1811 or 1812 he moved to Hector, Schuler County, NY. Sometime later he moved to Howard, Steuben County , NY where he lived the rest of his life. He died in 1845. He and his wife Ann were buried near Buena Vista in Howard Township, Steuben County, NY.

I'm a newbie here, so any direction on how to proceed with this possible connection would be appreciated. Thanks. Ann Dunham
