This Dunham line descends from Jonathan Dunham, alias Singletary, s/o Richard Singletary.

Richard1 Singletary (d. 25 Oct 1687 Haverhill, Massachusetts); likely m. (1) Goodwife Singletary, perhaps Lydia Downham, believed by some researchers to be mother of Jonathan Dunham, alias Singletary. Richard m (2) Susanna Cooke.

Jonathan2 Dunham, alias Singletary; married Mary Bloomfield.

Nathaniel3 Dunham married Johanna Thornell

David4 Dunham married Esther Crane

Joseph5 Dunham married Hannah Unknown. Hannah (Unknown) Dunham is not Hannah (Conger/Conyer) Dunham.

MARY "Polly" DUNHAM was born in 1766. She was the daughter of Joseph Dunham and Hannah Unknown. [See: Note #1]

Mary "Polly" Dunham was baptized 13 April 1766 at the Presbyterian Church in Westfield, Essex County (now Union County), New Jersey.

She married on 20 March 1785 to Isaac Willcocks (aka Wilcox) at the Presbyterian Church in Westfield, Essex County (now Union County), New Jersey, USA. He is given as s/o John Willcocks and Massy Marcy Ross.

Presently, nothing more is known about Isaac & Mary.

One Isaac Wilcox served in the Revolutionary War: Isaac Willcox Military Service: Sherburne's Regiment [1]

The two Joseph Dunhams were 2nd cousins.
Joseph5 Dunham (1736-1776) was s/o David4 Dunham. Joseph5 Dunham (1736-1776) married Hannah (maiden name unknown). Their child, Abraham Davis Dunham, was born after Joseph's death and records show, The widow Dunham's child was baptized, named Abraham Davis, 11 Aug 1777. Joseph5 Dunham (1735-1790) was s/o Joseph4 Dunham. Joseph 5 Dunham (1735-1790), who married Hannah Conger/Conyer, was s/o Joseph4 (David3, Jonathan2 Dunham (alias Singletary), Richard1 Singletary). He was a Private in the NJ Militia during the Revolutionary War.
