BYERGO—Mrs. Carrie E. Byergo, Alpine Road, died at 12:25 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 1977 in Fairhaven Christian Home after a long illness.
Born April 10, 1889, in Guilford, MO, the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. William S. Dunlap, she lived 53 years in Rockford, coming from here from Peoria. Married Fred Byergo in Guilford Jan. 10, 1909.
Retired office worker of Chase V. Weiss Co. where she worked for many years. Member of Second Congregational Church.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Margaret Byergo, River Forest; a sister, Mrs. Alta Ginn, Peoria; a grandson, Frederick H. Byergo, Lake Forest; and a niece, Mrs. Mildred McEntee.
Services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22 in Burpee-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Theodore Grazia, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, River Forest officiating. Burial in Willwood Cemetery. [5]
