Biography

Peter was born in 1834. He was the son of William Dunlop and Elspeth Walker.

Peter married Caroline Thompson in 1861.[1]

Marriage Notice
At Duncan-street, Dunedin, Otago, on the 8th instant, by the Rev. D. M. Stewart, Mr. Peter Dunlop, Carpenter, to Caroline Thompson, both of Aberlady, East Lothian, Scotland.[2]

He passed away in 1899.[3][4]

Death Notice
On the 7th September, at his residence, Duncan street, Peter Dunlop; aged 65 years. Deeply regretted.[5]

Obituary
The death is announced of an old resident of Dunedin, in the person of Mr Peter Dunlop. He was a native of Aberlady, Haddingtonshire, and came to the colony in the ship Tree Bells. He lived in Duncan street for upwards of 40 years. He leaves a family of four children, all grown up.[6]
