Biography

• Robert John Dunlop was born in 1878 in Aghaveagh near Cookstown, Co. Tyrone. He was the son of

Samuel Dunlop and Jane (McCullough) Dunlop^[1] .

• In 1884, Robert John's parents Samuel and Jane Dunlop emigrated to USA, on the SS Circassia, arriving in New York on 27th May 1884. They took their eight survivng children with them^[2].
• Robert John was living with his parents and siblings in Ringgold, Iowa from 1885 to at least 1900^[3][4][5].
• His father Samuel died in 1899 and at some point between 1900 and 1910 his mother Jane Dunlop and family moved to Daviess County, Missouri^[6][7].
• After his mother Jane's death, his sister Mary Eliza Dunlop became the head of the household for the Dunlop siblings still living Daviess County, Missouri^[8].
• After Mary Eliza Dunlop's death Robert remained in Daviess County, Missouri^[9].
• Robert John Dunlop died after 1940, probbly in Missouri.
